What a week we’ve just had! Over the past few months, we’ve been working closely with Cunard and Whyte & Mackay Highland Single Malt Whisky brand, The Dalmore in a first for the cruise industry.

Thirsty for more? During the Queen Mary 2 transatlantic crossing from Southampton to New York last Sunday, we worked with our much-loved partners to offer Cunard’s discerning guests exclusive whisky experiences, including guided tastings of treasures from The Dalmore Principal Collection led by world famous Master Distiller, Richard Paterson – the creative force behind The Dalmore for nearly five decades. Rare Whisky Director of Whyte & Mackay, Gerry Tosh also hosted workshops telling the story of the origins of Scotch whisky through to modern day innovations, followed by further guided tastings. 

An exclusive tasting of two new vintage single malt whisky expressions from The Dalmore Constellation Collection also took place, with travel retail exclusives ‘Dominium’ and ‘Valour’ being available to purchase on board. Customers who purchased bottles of The Dalmore were also gifted a limited-edition miniature decanter engraved with dates commemorating The Dalmore launch.

The immersive 360-degree experience combined the bar, restaurant and retail space on board Queen Mary 2 for the first time, and we’re looking forward to working with all of our Cruise Partners on further innovative partnerships in the future, surprising and delighting guests the world over.
